  • Shirts are printed on 100% cotton unisex shirts.
  • Due to the small size of our business, all sales are final.

  • as someone who solely draws cute girls i was really doubting my ability to not only draw a dragon, but to draw a CUTE dragon (i mean- not saying dragons aren't cute already!) but you have to step out of your comfort zone eventually.

i struggled with a lot of different concepts. i was like "okay how about i draw a chibi dragon that's sort of in my skill range." so i came up with this concept of a chibi break-dancing dragon- i scrapped that because i thought it would be too difficult for anyone to decipher what the dragon was doing (also it just looked really weird). then i was like, "okay what if i do a dragon doing a peace sign yeah that's cute," also scrapped that because i realized, "would i really wear a chibi dragon shirt?" and the answer is no, i would not.

i did away with the whole "chibi/kawaii" idea and put more thought into "what could i see people/myself actually wearing?" however, i didn't want to stray to far away from my niche but didn't want to design something that wasn't my style. i pondered and pondered and broke down the basic elements of my art style:

    -east/southeast asian elements
    -a tinge of realism/gore

that's how my final design came to fruition. my main inspiration came from japanese oni masks as well as chinese folklore dragons- mixed those two with some cute hearts and a creepy eyeball and poof you got the three things all dragons are. cute, creepy, and scary.
