Inspired by a classic tale of dragon transformation, This is an interpretation of the Dragon Gate legend, in which many carp compete to swim upstream up a giant waterfall to reach the top, where any fish to make it becomes a flying dragon. In this particular case, a koi has leapt its way to the gate, and has attained dragonhood, retaining its colorful pattern.
