The internet was a strange place back in the ancient days of the 1900's and early 2000's, but no stranger than it is today. In fact, it's a much stranger place than any of us could have imagined! And yet, cat memes, aliens and Rick Roll's still dominate the this ethereal reality we call the World Wide Web to this day. Sometimes I miss the old interweb - the intergalactic sights, deep web searches with 1000 pages of results leading to lost esoteric knowledge (or who knows what!), those gag sites your friends tricked you into visiting and, of course, showing off your new html skills and building your own website. Old web nostalgia hurts, but it doesn't have to. Let this t-shirt comfort you in your yearning for the simple old days of dial-up, bonsai kitten, message boards, y2k end of the world stuff and trippy flash art. And know that it is not gone - the old web has merely evolved into something greater (presenting to you: the comments section, flat earth, glitchcore and cats, cats and more cats!).
