"Big Gay Market" made history in Indianapolis as its first all LGBTQIA2S+ market July 31st, 2021. What began as a space to uplift small, marginalized creators has evolved into a thriving community that champions love, acceptance, and unity—offering a place of respite and connection in a world often divided by hate. As demand has grown, Indy Gay Market has now serves as an official nonprofit serving over 400 artists across Indianapolis and greater Indiana each year!
This fundraiser is all about supporting the artists who make our market special. As our community expands, we have exceeded capacity for each of our events! To maintain an equitable space for all vendors, our financial aid program waives event fees for vendors facing economic hardship to help vendors access community despite economic barriers! 100% of the funds we raise will provide financial aid, ensuring that all queer artisans have the opportunity to be part a part of our market.
