This preorder is part of the Hyperreal Bootleg T-Shirt Challenge. The challenge runs until Monday, September 22nd at 12pm noon CST.

The Fast and The Furious Franchise is a franchise about fast cars, and family, with the series especially highlighting the relationship between Dom and Brian, as they go from distrusting each other, to becoming close friends and then brothers, within the movies and in real life too. That is what I wanted to capture in this design.

As for the title?

In the first move, The Fast and The Furious, Dom tells Brian;
"I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free."

And then later in movie 7 Dom reflect on his relationship with Brian saying;
"I used to say I live my life a quarter mile at a time and I think that's why we were brothers - because you did too. No matter where you are, whether it's a quarter mile away or half way across the world, you'll always be with me. And you'll always be my brother."

I also wanted to create this piece as a tribute to Paul Walker, who was gone too soon but will always be remembered as the legend that he was.
