This preorder is part of the Heaven or Hell design challenge.

The challenge runs until September 21st, 2026 at 12pm (noon) CST.

This design explores the tension between temptation and judgment. Inspired by the quote, “The sun watches what I do, but the moon knows all my secrets,” the artwork uses an angel and devil to symbolize the competing forces within us. The angel represents our conscience, superego, or voice of reason, while the devil embodies our impulses, id, and deepest desires.

The monkey represents us, because despite our evolved capacity for abstract thought and self-awareness, many of us still find ourselves giving in to our primal appetites. That indulgence is represented by a joint. Not only is it a common modern-day vice, but weed is often nicknamed the “devil’s lettuce,” so I thought it’d be funny lol.

I wanted the design to feel both playful and reflective, inviting viewers to ask themselves: What temptations have you given in to recently?
