I wanted the juxtaposition of a demon from hell in a quiet peaceful place. Mostly just wanted some chill summer vibes incorporated into this illustration, with all the chaos around us, I think we could all use a little of that right now. I also liked playing around with the idea of heaven or hell being right where you are.
The Japanese characters on the side can be translated to English as “Heaven’s Hell”.
