Lux Phero by fiumeinpena

“Lux Phero” are the Greek words that make up the name of the well-known ruler of Hell: Lucifer. Funny enough, his name literally means “light bearer” — which doesn’t exactly match the image we usually have of the realm of the damned, does it?
Lucifer, the most beautiful and perfect angel in all of creation, God’s favorite, suddenly found all his cruelty turned against him simply because he refused to recognize his Creator’s authority. By refusing to submit, he declared his complete independence.
Of course, this didn’t sit well with the fragile ego of a rather temperamental god, who decided to condemn him to an eternity in the burning depths of Hell.
Lucifer, taking the form of a snake, was also blamed for giving humanity the gift of knowledge through the bite of an apple -what a monster huh?- another thing God obviously didn’t take too well, considering his well-known celestial jealousy and need to be controlling. So here’s a tribute to the misunderstood anarchical devil ;)
