Lumière éternelle (Eternal Light) explores the duality that exists within us all. A serene nun, traditionally a symbol of purity, faith, and heaven, smokes a cigarette beneath a bold pink and red palette. Her missing eyes and the intense red tones hint at the darkness that can exist beneath an outward appearance of innocence. The piece reflects the idea that while many strive to embody goodness, inner struggles, temptation, and hardship can reveal hidden aspects of ourselves.

It also serves as a reminder to pursue lasting peace and remain guided by hope, even when confronting our own shadows. The illustration embraces the tension between heaven and hell, suggesting that true character is defined not by the absence of darkness, but by the choice to continually seek the light.
