I was granted an artist residency in France earlier this winter. I went there and ended up painting radically different than I usually do. I made 25 skulls all with stories except for this one; sabotage. in 2017, I had a friend pass away from cancer and she asked me before she died what made me feel strong. I wish she were alive so that I could tell her making these skulls makes me feel strong. This sabotage one grounds me and rocks my heart wide open.
