This piece is inspired by The Fallen Angel by Alexandre Cabanel. Portraying an Angel in the middle of a transformation or de-transformation; the look of shock and impossibility shown in the expression as we witness the event frozen in time. In semblance to The Fallen Angel in its exploration of the expression is showing the terror rather than the anger and resentment of its inspiration.
