Hello!

I'm Neža Kozjek, but you can also just call me NeKo! I'm a Slovenian student and I study graphic design in Ljubljana. My personal art journey started as soon as I could hold a pencil, and I've been drawing ever since. My absolute favorite form of art is illustration, and I am inspired to become a professional illustrator. I love to draw standalone pieces and series of art and I love to do traditional and digital art!

This challenge is my first art challenge! So far, I've only done art for my close friends, family and my school, so this has been an interesting journey to get me out of my comfort zone and into the world.

My illustration depicts a Guide to the Afterlife which is also the name of peace. The so-called guide is a spiritual being who brings departed souls to their central homes in the afterlife to heaven, purgatory or hell. The Guide are neither good or evil, not an angel or a demon, but a subspecies of both and their prime subjective is to guide, protect and shield souls to their right gates.
