hello & goodbye by Francesca Killian

I created this design based on the feeling of love, and the emotional invisible string that ties us together. The first "hello" when you are together after a long time apart feels like heaven, and the last long, sad "goodbye" seems like hell until the next time you are together; an affectionate kiss is a beautiful connection to heaven. This love can be felt in a romantic sense (as depicted here) but it can also include the love in a family or friendship, such as when you're saying farewell through security at the airport, coming home to your childhood home for the holidays, or reuniting through trip for the first time in many years. These "hellos" after time apart can feel so fast and bittersweet, but the heavenly feeling of love is something that cannot be replaced. And although the "goodbyes" are painful, there's always a next time, and the "hell" is short-lived.
