Imago Dei Latores—Bearers of the Image of God—is not a declaration of who we once were, but of who Christ restores us to become.

Sin fractured the communion between God and humanity, leaving death to reign where life was intended. Yet Christ entered death willingly, descending into the very place where separation held its power. Within the mouth of death, salvation is revealed. The cross stands where the grave believed it had won.

This piece is a meditation on restoration: that the image of God, though marred by sin, is not abandoned. Through Christ's sacrifice, humanity is reconciled to the Creator and invited once again to celebrate His image in the promise of eternal life.
