The challenge runs until September 21st, 2026 at 12pm (noon) CST.
Using the theme "Heaven or Hell," this design uses themes of freedom, judgement, and the power behind our free will. With references to prominent female religious figures like Judith and St. Joan of Arc (her sword), as well as heavy baroque references like artwork from Artemisia Gentileschi, this piece stands to represent the importance of our own free will in a religious context and how the choices we make are greatly influential. In the end, we decide on our own terms how to live and what is subjectively good or bad.
