When I think of Heaven and Hell, I don’t think of Angels and Devils, I don’t think of the good and the bad. I think towards the stories and the myths.
Persephone spends half of the year in the underworld and half in the living world. This piece is about her descent.
We all have our seasons of descent, our cycles of change the parts of ourselves that go quiet and dark before they come back to the light.
Even in the underworld, she stays connected to life and fruit, still reaching towards the bloom.
