The Creation of Rock and Roll is an old idea by me, Tre Kim or as Instagram knows me @two222tattoos. Raw Paw contest was the push needed to bring the idea to life. I absolutely drew from my work as a tattoo artist. But I also combined my style as a cartoonist (@wealltripp on Instagram) and painter (@trippanddraw on Instagram).The inclusion of the third hand represents all the “fun” that can come from a little indulgence in pleasures of the world. The third hand also is used as a device to add to the tangent between Adam and God. The gilded pieces of a frame is a nod to the Renaissance. There is some American traditional tattoo inspiration in the mix as well. Including the blackwork style of the design for the finish, I believe all the elements of this design acts as an echo for the many influences that are at play in each and everyone person.
